    In response to overwhelming demand from our membership, and based on the success of last year's series of workshops, the SBN is continuing its Critical Skills workshop series, focused on helping students hone their soft skills.

    Topics covered will include business etiquette, networking, public speaking, and technical writing skills.

    Networking Nights

    Practice makes perfect. 
    This year, the SBN is debuting a new series of events allowing students and young industry professionals to polish their networking skills. Networking Nights are an informal chance for members of the life sciences community to get together over a drink and expand their professional circle. Paired with the Critical Skills for Success workshops, these events aim to help students build confidence in their networking abilities, and enhance the sense of community within the local biotechnology sector.
