Mr. Duncan Kent

Duncan Kent often serves as project manager and senior consultant on projects and guides the development of publications. Duncan holds a Masters of Arts (MA) and is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC). He has worked for more than 20 years as a professional business and technical writer and documentation consultant. Duncan is a founding member and past-president of the Canada West Coast chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (25,000 members worldwide). He also teaches technical writing at Simon Fraser University and offers manual writing workshops across Canada.

Dene Rossouw has 20 years of facilitation and consulting experience in the field of leadership engagement and communications. He is the 2010 President for the Vancouver chapter of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers and is a Certified Executive Coach through Royal Roads University. He is a Certified Emotional Intelligence facilitator using the BarOn Emotional Intelligence Quotient Inventory - EQ-i™ and has the Associate Certificate in Workplace Conflict from the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Dene has a Bachelor of Theology from the University of South Africa.

Margaret Page is a passionate coach, etiquette consultant and business woman who evokes clarity, creativity and confidence in those around her. With over 30 years of practical business experience, she is known for her work with business owners from the very new to the powerful and mighty. Margaret delivers unique and inspiring guidance on how to live a life less ordinary.

A graduate of CoachU and Protocol School of Washington, she also has two College Diplomas: one in Business Management and one in Accounting. Margaret is the creator of “Cognito: Modern Wisdom for Dining and Social Etiquette” cards and co-authored the book, “Blueprint for Success,” with Steven Covey and Ken Blanchard. In 2008 Margaret was nominated for the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Trailblazer of the year Award.

Sandy Huang’s talent for solving business challenges makes her an asset to any operation. A product of her extensive business knowledge, willingness to think outside the box, and ability to adapt quickly to new situations, Sandy’s diverse skill set enables her to provide expert guidance for businesses in all stages of life.

After living in various North American, South Pacific, and Asian cities, Sandy moved to Vancouver, earned a Commerce degree in Finance, and following in her parents’ footsteps as business owners, tried her hand at entrepreneurism. Sandy’s first-hand experience with the triumphs and pitfalls of running a business inspired her to deepen her knowledge by enrolling at UBC’s Sauder School of Business. Upon graduating with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategic Management, Sandy started Pinpoint Tactics Business Consulting with the goal of guiding other businesses to success. Pinpoint Tactics Business Consulting’s client base ranges from start-up businesses, to companies on a steep growth tangent, to mature enterprises.

Beyond Pinpoint Tactics, Sandy sits on the board of Burnaby Counselling Group and its Marketing and Strategic Planning sub-committees. She also teaches business courses at EMBERS (Eastside Movement for Business and Economic Renewal Society) to help entrepreneurs launch business ideas or improve their existing businesses.
