What do SBN Mentors Say

Truly Unique!

The forums put on by the SBN are truly unique in creating amazing opportunities for students to network with academia & industry mentors. The interdisciplinary nature of the SBN continues to promote SBN members as the next leaders in many Biotechnology/Life Sciences disciplines

Helping students become
industry-ready by graduation

The Student Biotechnology Network’s (SBN) mentorship program connects talented students with successful biotech professionals who can guide students as they explore potential career opportunities.

SBN Mentors are uniquely poised to provide key advice and encouragement to students and new graduates. Through their leadership, our mentors expand and nurture the local life sciences and biotech community. Mentors are invited to register for all of the SBN’s events, and are encouraged to provide feedback to the SBN Executive Team.

In response to the growth of the mentorship program, the SBN is introducing a few changes to the mentorship program. To help us keep a better record of our mentor participation, we encourage you, our mentors, to create a “mentor profile,” through which you can update your contact and professional information. Additionally, due to the limited capacity of some of our events, and the increasing interest from mentors to attend, we now welcome our mentors to register for events through our website.
