A Rare Opportunity: LifeSciences BC Breakfast Speaking Event Featuring Sir Gregory Winter

Imagine being responsible for the development of not only one "blockbuster compound' but four. Now imagine also building not only one successful company but three. This is what Sir Gregory Winter has been able to achieve.

He is responsible for the development of Herceptin, Avastin, Humira and Campath. A remarkable achievement for a scientist. In addition, he is an entrepreneur who created Cambridge Antibody Technology (CAT), (sold to Astra Zeneca in 2006 for £702 M), he created Domantis (sold to GSK in 2006 for £230 M) and has now created Bicycle Therapeutics.

LifeSciences BC is pleased to welcome Sir Gregory Winter as our keynote speaker for the next LifeSciences BC Breakfast Speaking Event. Sir Gregory is one of the recipients of this year’s Canada Gairdner International Awards and we are delighted to welcome him as part of his Vancouver tour.

This is a rare opportunity to hear and engage Sir Gregory when he speaks in Vancouver on Monday morning October 21, 2013. This breakfast meeting promises to be stimulating to scientists and entrepreneurs alike. To get an idea of what is on offer, please see the attached YouTube conversation with Sir Gregory.
